JAPAN’S REJOINDER.
TRADE INTERFERENCE DENIED
(Times Cables.; Received June 26, 1 p.m. LONDON, June 25. The Tokio correspondent of the Times says a Foreign Office statement denies that Japan lias tried to interlere with Australia’s trade policy with Britain. It asserts that the Government have endeavoured to meet complaints about excessively low prices of cotton and rayon by imposing an export charge and restricting orders, though declining to accept quotas.
