WAIKATO DAIRY SEASON.

BIG INCREASE IN OUTPUT. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, June 13. Returns now available covering the company’s total production during the past season 6how that all previous records of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company have been eclipsed. There was an increase of 5410 .tons in the butter production at the company s 16 butter factories. The outputs ranged from 1000 tons a.t Ngongotaha to 6385 tons at YVaharoa, while at its 18 cheese factories the quantities manufactured varied from 288 tons to 1029 tons. The output of butter at Waliaroa represented an increase of 21 per cent., while at the other factories substantial increases were recorded. An increased overseas demand resulted in a substantially increased output of casein and a greater output or milk powder was being quicklv absorbed by the overseas markets. It has" been decided by the company, on account of the improved conditions in the United Kingdom market, to make an advance of a shilling a pound for butterfat and Is lid per lb for butterfat for clieese-making. The output of the other Y\ aikato co-operative and proprietary companies has also increased substantially and is a reflection of the exceptional dry season experienced in the YVaikatu
