CORRESPONDENCE

ANZAC STAMPS.

(To tlie Editor.) Sir, —I desire through your valuable columns to extend grateful thanks to those who have assisted our campaign to raise funds by means of the Anzac memorial stamps. This constitutes a unique opportunity for the association to replenish funds that have hitherto been supplied by the generosity of such rreat men as M. Paderewski and the late Mr O’Hara during their lives, and many kind-hearted friends in their testamentary dispositions. Quite candidly the net result of this present affort will probably be better than any ither appeal ot a similar description. For this I repeat my expressions of grateful thanks. I do, however, ask ill our citizens who desire to help, in lowever small a way, to see that the lime that remains for the sale of the stamps, that is until June 20, is characterised with the same generous response that has marked the campaign since it was so graciously launched by His Excellency Lord Galway on April 26.—1 am, etc., B. J. JACOBS, Dominion Vice-president N.Z.R.S.A.
