RANGITIKEI.
• MAR-TON, May 25. A meeting of the management committee of the Ra-ngitikei Rugby SubUnion was held on Friday evening, Mr R. C. S. McKenzie presiding. Mr G. Thomson’s resignation as the Referees Association delegate to union was received with regret. Mr E. W. Cowdry has been appointed to the position. The Ohingaiti Club wrote asking permission to enter a junior team ill the competition, the request being granted. Owing tq the scarcity of nominations in Rangitikei this year, peimission was granted to all clubs who have drawn a bye to play teams affiliated to any neighbouring union.
