BOY ADVENTURERS
DISAPPEAR WITH BICYCLE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 26. On a bicycle which only one of them could ride, two boys left their homes in Grey Lynn on Sunday night in search of ‘adventure, since when no trace of them has been reported, they are Cyril Wheeler, aged 14, son of Mr J. Wheeler, of Bute Street, and Desmond Walsh, aged 14, son of Mr F. Walsh, ot Millias Street. , , “I am quite worried about them, although my husband says it would probably do the boys good,” said Mrs Wheeler. ‘‘Cyril .was remarkably well behaved on- Sunday morning and did some work in the garden which should perhaps have made me suspicious that he had some scheme up his sleeve, ihe bovs were friends and I thought they were going to a concert at the picture theatre on Sunday night but they must have had their trip well planned. My son left home in a blue serge suit and we later discovered he had thrown a pair of grey trousers out of a window and picked them up on his way out. The pair took a tent with them as well as Desmond Walsh’s bicycle, but they probably found the going pretty slow because Cyril could not ride a bicycle If they are camping out they will De very cold and perhaps they will appro; ciate home better when they are found. Descriptions of the missing boys have been given to the police.
