WHAKARONGO.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) WIIAKARONGO, May 15. There was a good attendance at the fortnightly euchre party, and mmy good games were played. The following were tlie winners: —Ladies, Miss M. Speedy 1, Mrs Gore, and Mrs Puklowski, equal, 2; Mrs Stern, (consolation); gentlemen, Mr W. VauGer 1, Mr Dusky 2: Mr McKatl (consolation). A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss V. Puklowski and Mr S. Alberts. Dancing was carried out for the rest of the eveirng, the music being supplied by ft professional orchestra, the duties of M.C. being caricd out by Mr 11. Gore. . , _ Miss E. Woo eld left tins week for Taranaki to attend a wedding witch takes place early in June.
