HOURS AND WAGES.
WAIKATO REQUEST. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, May 14. The annual meeting of the South Auckland Dairy Association to-day decided to dispatch the following telegram to the Ministers of Finance, Agriculture, and Labour:—“At the annual meeting of the South Auckland Dairy Association, it was unanimously resolved that the Government be requested to defer the proposed Acts applicable to dairy companies, particularly in regard to special hours and additional rates of pay for specified holidays and Saturday afternoons, until such time as the dairy comapnies’ representatives have had an opportunity to state their case before the Arbitration Court.”
