OPTIMISTS’ CLUB.
A large number of Optimists met for tlieir weekly luncheon when Optimists G. Kenning was in the chair. Apologies for absence were received from Optimists K. Struthers, E. Collinson, W. H. Brown, C. Voss, B. Trow. Mr G. Fairburn was welcomed as a visitor. During the luncheon six new members were initiated by the president, Optimists R. Haddon, these being Optimists M. Davidson, H. Egdell, R. Stevenson, H. Lyall, R. Johnson, and 11. Cook.
