KOPANE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) KOPANE, May 13. The Kopano A basketball team met the Rosina team at Kopane. Although l/iie visitors defended well, Kopane had an easy win by 15 points j.o 5. On Monday afternoon the basketball 13 team journeyed to Taikorca to play a friendly match with the Taikorca team. The visitors were defeated by 15 goals to 2. The A team indulged in a practice game with Glen Oroua on the home grounds. The teams were evenly matched and tho result was a draw, with 5 goals each. Miss G. Parsons refereed. Mrs C. Thompson is spending a holiday in Wanganui. Miss Lots Dunstan, of Palmerston North, who has been spending a holiday at Kopane as the guest of Miss Jean Glasgow, has returned to her home. Miss Wynne Whyte lias been spending a holiday as the guest of Miss Val Morgan.
