JAPANESE TRADE.

AUSTRALIA’S NEGOTIATIONS. SYDNEY, April 23. Cabinet is now discussing the position, but the Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons), beyond saying that the negotiations had reached a very delicate stage, declined to comment. Senator Sir George Pearce, Leader of the Government in the Senate, informed the House that the Government would make an early announcement of policy regarding Japanese tra'de, including rayon importations, and the whole question would be debated in Parliament.
