(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, April 22. Mr and Mrs W. Morton arc at prosciit on a motor tour of the North, Island. Mrs L. G. Lowry, who lias been on holiday at Now Plymouth, arrived home yesterday afternoon. Mr .13. 11. Rhodes, who lias been on holiday in the north, returned to Otaki on Monday. Mr and Mrs C. Garrett, who have been residu ts of this district for 1 some time, have taken up their residence at Shannon. The social at the Catholic' Parish Hall on Monday night was splendidly attended. Dancing was indulged in to music provided by Mr D. Nicholls, while euchre prizes wore won by Mrs K. Ransficld (Ohau) and Mr A Meta (firsts) and Mrs G. Wintorburn and Mr J. Johnson (seconds). The supper was fully appreciated. At the Anglician church euchre party on Monday night there was a fair attendance and all enjoyed the entertainment. Dancing was indulged in to music played by Miss Utiku, while Miss T. Parala played an extra. Mr F. Rule was M.G., Mrs Bailey supervised the supper arrangements, while Mr J. Bailey rendered valuable hoi;). lDuclirc prizes were won by Mrs Denton and Mr Nillstn (firsts) and Mrs lliggott and Mr Snowden (seconds). 1
