Reports from several independent sources have been received that a destroyer is acting as escort and guard to tiie 59 J apanese pearling schooners operating in territorial waters. Many divers are emphatic that they are not confusing this destroyer witli the motor-snips wiiicli bring supplies to tiie divers, as one supply ship always remains with tiie neet while the other takes away the shell.
