CATAPULTED OVER ROOFS.
YOUNG BOY’S DEATH
Received April 9, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, April 8. Two hundred Carshalton school children were watching tree-felling operations avhen an 11-year-old lad, Stanley Parish, became entangled as the guide rope tightened with the fall of the tree. He w'as catapulted for 150 yards over the housetops into a rear garden and died on the way to hospital. The speed of. the flight turned the lad’s jacket inside out. His mother saw the tragedy, but did not realise the identity of the victim. Two other boys were thrown some distance, but were not seriously injured.
