RIOTOUS SCENES.
CONTINUANCE IN SPAIN. MADRID, March 18. Communists having made a bonfire of all church statues at Yecla, the municipal authorities at El Saucejo, taking a leaf from Germany’s book, “protectively arrested,” and took to prison all of the local religious statues, thereby outwitting the rioters who threatened to bomb a church. Two men were killed in a riot at Oviedo and one at Ocano as tlie result of a gaol disturbance, which guards suppressed. An employee entered a Barcelona cafe and interrupted a game of cards by shooting two players,. killing one and wounding tlie other. Two gunmen robbed a Stock Exchange messenger of £345. They Were chased over roots and captured by police and soldiers. Tiie Government has closed 1 ascist centres throughout Spain.
