LONDON WOOL SALES.
ACTIVE DEMAND. Received March 18, 1.35 p.m. LONDON. March 17. At the wool sales 7664 bales were offered, including 4969 from New Zealand, and 6950 were sold. There was a good supply of Australian Merinos offered, and the wool sold actively at full rates. New Zealand greasy halfbred (New Zealand Land Company over Mount Fortune) made 161 d, an average of 144 d.
