Attractively wrapped and packed after the fashion of Californian fruit, and even bearing an English name, a quantity of Japanese oranges formed an interesting exhibit nt a fruit sale in Napier. More interesting however, w-as the “boycott” placed on the oranges by a number of Chinese fruitwho refused stolidly to bid for the fruit despite the fact that it w-as selling at a low price.
