IMPERIAL PENSIONS.
NO CHANGES LIKELY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 17. After visiting Australia to deal with questions relating to Imperial soldiers’ pensions, Air F. N. Smith, 0.8. E., a senior officer of the British Alinisti'y of Pensions, London, is at present in Wellington. His purpose is not to investigate individual cases, except those in which there are special difficulties and where the men concerned have used tho facilities at their disposal in this country. He states that no changes in the pensions policy are contemplated by the British Ministry, but nevertheless lie will be meeting the representatives of accredited ex-serviceiiien’s associations. He has already been in touch with the New Zealand R.S.A. and is to have discussions with that body. He expects to be in New Zealand for five or six weeks, and will return to England via Canada. During the war Air Smith served with tlie R.A.Ii.
