SUEZ CANAL BOARD.
EGYPTIAN MEMBERSHIP. CAIRO, Feb. 10. The Government is negotiating* with the Suez Canal Company in order to ensure Egyptians being nominated for the board, on which at present there is no Egyptian director. It is also urging the employment of a percentage of Egyptians on the staff, which is almost exclusively French. There is every hope of an early agreement.
