SIGNAL HONOUR. MELBOURNE, Jan. 20. Miss Hinemoa Rosieur, of New Zealand, lias been awarded the Melba liequest singing scholarship for the second year in suceossion without examination. Tlie director of the Conservatorium (Dr Fritz Hart) considered that her work last year was of such a high standard that a further term would help her development.
