LONE TRAGEDY.
MOTOR-CYCLIST’S DEATH. Per Press Association. 'GREYMOUTH, Jan. 19. Duncan McLean, a sawmill engineer, emploved at Perry and Co.’s mill at Kakapotahi, South Westland, met with a fatal accident this afternoon while motor-cycling about a mile and a-half south of Ross. McLean, who formerly belonged to Greymouth, was found dead underneath his burning motor-cycle on the main south road. There was no witness to the tragedy. The machine was practically destroyed.
