VANISHED IN NIGHT.
VALUABLE DAIRY CATTLE. . PI?KEKOHE, Sept. 25. hollowing on the loss of a valuable pedigree heifer close to profit in August of last-year, a Pukekawa farmer, “Jr H. Pippins, has had another valuable animal disappear from his farm, the second animal to disappear, a ten-year-old Jersey cow, was driven into a hve-acre paddock after milking on Monday night of last week, and the next morning the cow was missing. I lie cow, which was bred by Mr Tippins, is one of particularly good quality and is valued at £25, while the heifer which disappeared last year is still more valuable, being valued at 30 guineas. It is presumed that both animals have been taken from the paddock and loaded on to a motor lorry.
