(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Sept. 26. The annual meeting of mombers o f the Rangitikei - Polo Club ' was held in Bulls on Tuesday evening, nine attending, and
apologies being received from Mesera Duncan Bros., Parsons 8r05.,, and R. Tricker. Mr R. A. Wilson presided. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Air K. W. Dalrymple; president, Air R. A. Wilson; captain, Mr Rex D. AlcKelvie; hon. secretary, Air R. 0. Dalrymp'io; committee, Messrs ,W. W; Wilson. R. Simpson, J. G. Wilson, and Q. O. Wilson. It was decided to send a letter of appreciation to Mr K. M; Little for his services as coach and referee last year, and hoping that he would be able to give his valuable services again this year. It was decided also to endeavour to start practice games in’ November,, anil to officially open the season on thp first Saturday in the New Year. With tho apparent keenness of members, the prospects for polo in Rangitikei look bright in the coming season. Air W. J. Willis was elected a member •of tho club. The flag competition played last Saturday by the Rangitikei Golf Club was won by F. S. Collier, who took the flag to within 6 inches of the cup on tho 19th green. T. R. Willis was .runner-un. September 28, being the last Saturday for play, a mixed Canadian foursomes will be played. The draw will take place at the clubhouse. The match with Scafield, which was postponed- from September 19, will take place this week-end, and. the following will represent the Rangitikei Golf Club: —N. Amon, G. Drew, R. F. Scott, H.
