NEW ZEALAND HORSES. SYDNEY, Sept. 26. At Ranclwick on the outside of tho course proper Sylvandale just led Thco after nine furlongs run in 2.2. Dark Sky beat The Chanter over a mile in 1.47^. Sir John did an easy seven furlongs in 1.39. Homer led Fanfare over the best four furlongs of the. morning. Tho time was 51sec. Legatee did a mile in 1.48. The first four furlongs took 52L Contact led Allunga over a mile in 1.49. Curator did the fastest mile of tho morning, 1.45. Gladswood just beat Cherry Kmg over six furlongs in 1.21. Barak went a mile in 1.51 3-4, doing an even pace all the way. Scratchmere Scar went an easy mile, and Gold Trail did a mile in 1.46 comfortably. Golden Chance beat Gay Sheik by ten lengths over five furlongs covered ip 1.5. Silver Ring was not hurried to cover six furlongs in 1.22 j. At Rosebery on the inside grass Rogilia went well over seven furlongs in 1.33. Peter Pan and Young Idea worked well at Victoria Park, as also did Synagogue at Warwick Farm.
Mr A. Bloomfield, of Palmerston North, has been elected a member of the committee of the Manawatu Trotting Club.
