FEILDING SALE.
HIGH PRICE TRENDS. There was an average yarding of fat sheep at the Feilding sale to-day, and with the good quality prices showed a tendency towards higher rates, particularly for prime ewes. Competition for dairy stock improved, prices showing an increase. Prices up to 1 p.m. were as follow: — Eat sheep.—Woolly hoggets, 19s 4d, 21s lOd, 22s 3d, 23s 7d, 245, 25s 4d, to 28s; shorn do., 17s 9d to 20s; shorn wethers, 17s 6d to 19s; woolly do., 23s 9d, 27s Id, 27s 6d; woolly ewes, 18s Id, 20s, to 20s 3d; shorn do., 15s Id. Dairy Stock.—Springing heifers, £3, £3 15s, £4 17s 6d, £5 12s 6d, £6 5s to £8; heifers in milk, £6 12s 6d; store boner cows, 27s 6d to 355; forward cows, £2 ss, £2 11s, to £2 T7s 6d ; 2-yr. steel's, £2 15s to £7 9s.
