TO CONTINUE IN FORCE
LONDON, Sept. 24. At the annual meeting of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, Sir Eruley Blackwell’s proposal to revert to the old principle of “lost ball lost hole in match play was overwhelmingly deOverseas representatives declared that the new rule was working well in their respective countries. The contention that the penalty of loss of the hole for a lost ball was inequitable was practically unanimous.
