At the wool sales 10,627 bales were offered, including 5738 from New Zealand and about 9325 bales of Australian and New Zealand wool were sold. There was strong general competition, with prices showing a hardening tendency. New Zealand greasy crossbred, branded E.S.C., reached lOd and averaged Bid.
