REMOVAL OF ANOMALY.
DISTRIBUTION OF PROPERTY. An anomaly in relation to the distribution of the property of a deceased person dying intestate will be corrected by the Administration Amendment Bill, introduced to-day.. The Bill provides that in the case of persons dying after its passage the real estate not disposed of by the will will be distributed as if it were personal estate not disposed of by the will. Other clauses are designed to extend to British protectorates and mandated territories the present provisions of the Administration Act providing for the rescaling in New Zealand of probates and letters of administration granted in other parts of tile Empire. This will enable reciprocal provisions to be made in protectorates and territories for the rescaling in those countries of probates and Tetters granted in New Zea-' land.
