FAMOUS TENNIS PLAYER.
F. J. PERRY MARRIED. HARRISON (New Jersey), Sept. 12. F J Perry, the champion tennis player, ’ and Miss Helen Vinson, a movie actress, were married by a Justice of the Peace, Mr Leo Mintzer. A cable from London on July 16 stated that, in reply to rumours that he was engaged to Miss Helen Vinson, an American actress then working at an English film studio, Perry stated: “We are not engaged. We are just friends.” Miss Vinson said: “Anything is possible.” , Perry and Miss \ inson were at Eastbourne on July, 15, obviously interested in each other. They had met at Hollywood, and arrived in London by the same ship. Miss Vinson flew to Brussels when Perry, was playing there, and accompanied him back by aeroplane. They celebrated Perry’s success at Wimbledon together, and went to many theatres and parties in each other’s company.
