CHILLED BEEF SHIPMENT.
A further consignment of chilled beef was sent forward from the Feilding freezing works a few days ago, and it is expected that this will be the last before the New Year. The sample was said to be good but rather heavy, the shipment containing several 8001 b carcases instead of the required 7001 b. The price received by the farmers was 27s per 1001 b.
