SURGEON’S STATEMENT.
ALCOHOL IN BLOOD. AIELBOURNE, Sept. 12 Anyone who has one drop oi alcohol in a thousand, or 0.1 per cent., in Ins blood, produces symptoms ot being under the influence oi alcohol. A percentage of 0.5 per cent, ot alcohol m the blood, or one drop ot alcohol in 000 drops of blood, puts a person in a condition of coma or ot being dead These statements were made to-day in an address at the National lemperance League’s annua brenkiast, hcW iu conjunction with fc A e Ij.M-A. Conference, by Mr AV. McAdum Ecoles, one of England’s foremost surgeons.
