FEILDING SALE.
FAT SHEEP SELL WELL. Fat sheep were again keenly sought at Feilding to-day, high prices ruling tor prime pens. The ewe entry was moderately heavy, hut good over-all quality held the demand. Dairy, nei- • fers found the market fairly active, the best sorts selling well. Prices up to I p.lll. were as follow: Pat sheep.—Hoggets, 21s, -l» lOd, 2.3 s 9d to 24s Gd ; shorn wethers 21s Jd, 2ls Gd • woollv wethers, 24s 3d to 2Gs <jd • b.f. 2-tlis., 26s 7d; shorn ewes, 15s Id to IGs 7d: woolly ewes , 16s 3d, 17s 9d, 19s 3d, 20s 7d, 21s Gd to 24s Dairv stock. —Springing heifers, £3 7s Gd/£3 15s, £4 ss, £5, £5 15s to £G 2s Gd; heifers in milk, £1 10s to £2 OS. n Store cattle. —forward cows, £1 £2, £2 Gs, £2 18s to £3 Is; forward empty heifers, £2 14s.
