HOCKEY.
NORDON CUP MATCH. HASTINGS. Sept. 12. The Hastings hockey representatives withstood the final challenge for the Nordon Cup for the season when they heat Rodney (North Auckland) by three goals to two. The holders showed much better combination than the visitors who played well individually, but were no match for the concerted efforts of the home side. Hastings were also much faster than Rodney.
