TRAGIC DISCOVERY
MOTHER AND CHILDREN. BABY FOUND DEAD. Per Press Association. OAMARTJ, Sept. 12. As they had not been seen about their residence in Trent Street since Tuesday, when they appeared quite well, investigations were made this morning by a neighbour with the result that Airs Fitzmaurioe and her three young children were found together in bed, the youngest child, a baby of a few months old, being found dead in the arms of the mother. The other children were in a had condition. Airs Fitzmaurioe was unable to give any explanation as to the death of the child. ; . The police were notified and medical aid summoned, the woman and two children being sent to hospital. The coroner ordered a post mortem an the bodv of the baby. Everything in the house was in good order, there was plenty of food and money, and the place was tidy and clean. The woman’s husband is working in a relief camp at Ivartigi, and thus was absent from homo.
