TRIPLE CROWN.
BAHRAAI IN SELECT LIST. LONDON, Sept. 12. By his victory in the St. Leger, Bahrain takes his plac-c among the select list of winners who have achieved tho Triplo Crown—Two Thousand Guineas, Derby Stakes, and St. Leger. Fourteen horses have now secured this distinction, the last to do so before Bahrain’s victory being Gainsborough in 1918. It is .now ascertain that the jockey Frc-ddy Fox, who was to have ridden Bahram, but who fractured his skull during Tuesday’s racing at Doncaster, will bo unable to ride for some months. At present he is progressing satisfactorily.
