VITAL STATISTICS.
BRITISH FIGURES. Received September 13, 11.40 a.in. LONDON, Sept. 12. The Registrar-General’s statistics for the third quarter of 1935 show that births were 551 fewer than in the same quarter of 1934. They totalled 155,962. deaths increased by 2913 compared with 1934, the excess of births being 34,042 compared with 37,506 in the third quarter of 1934. The excess of males over females in births continues.
