PEACE OR WAR.
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ BALLOT. WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. Students of all the University colleges in New Zealand will consider a questionnaire on the question of peace or war at the end of this month. The ballot is being conducted by the New Zealand University Students’ Association, which has drawn up the questionnaire in an attempt to clarify the position so far as the New Zealand University is concerned. “Considerable thought has been expended on the preparation of this questionnaire and it follows the lines of those of other countries, especially Australia and Canada,” said Mr A. S. T. McGhie, secretary of the association, who expressed the hope that students would not, regard lightly this opportunity of influencing the country’s attitude toward these problems.
