POWER CUT OFF.
CAR STRIKES POLE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 27. The power was cut off from part of Miramar for half an hour this morning owing to a motor-car striking a pom ami breaking one of the lines. Airs C. H. Armstrong, who was being taught to drive, suffered shock and facial injuries, and Air J. Tweddell, a salesman, was similarly injured, while his left arm was also hurt. The car was badly damaged.
