EROSION OF RIVER BANK.
INSPECTION AIADE. Representatives of the Palmerston North Hospital Board (Alessrs Al. A. Aloody D. Collis and F. J. Ryder), the City Council (Cr. J. Hodgens and Mr J. R. Hughes, the engineer) and the Palmerston North River Board (Air E. Fisher, advisory engineer) and the secretary of the Hospital Board (Mr A. J. Pliillipps) met at Awapuni today to discuss the erosion taking place at the Alanawatu River’s banks near the Hospital Board's iarm and tlie septic tank. A report is to be made to the Hospital Board in due course.
