SHARE SCRIP CASE.
TERM OF GAOL. SYDNEY, July 16. William Campbell, aged 37, a share salesman, who was extradited from New Zealand, was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment on a charge of having stolen share certificates. Mr Justice Curlewis described Campbell as a particularly mean and cowardly swindler. Campbell’s wife, who was also convicted. was recommended to mercy. She was released on recognisances to be of good behaviour for three years.
