ROYAL AIR FORCE.
A SUPPLEMENTARY VOTE. Received July 17, 12 noon. LONDON, July 16. Announcing a supplementary vote for the Air Force of £5,335,000, increasing the original estimate of 1935 fo £29,585,000. Sir Philip CunliffeLister eplained that £3,150,000 of the new money would be devoted to cash pavmentsTor aircraft and £94i 000 to housing them. The balance was for extra personnel, equipment, etc for the current financial year. Tho bulk of the new programme would fall into next year.
