CREW OF AORANGI.
STRIKE PLAN REJECTED. Received Julv 17, 11.10 a.m. SYDNEY, July 17. The efforts by militants to withdraw the crew of the Aorangi in sympathy with the A’ancouver strikers proved unsuccessful. At a special meeting, the Sydney branch of the Seamen’s Union decided that the crew remain at work. The meeting, however, agreed to carry a motion exjinessin,g sympathy witV.i the strikers.
