3.15 P.M. EDITION
WYATT CRITICISED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received July 17, 1.20 p.m. LONDON, July 16. Commentators generally condemn AVyatt’s failure to seize the opportunity which Hammond’s magnificent display offered in the cricket Test They contend that Wyatt uselessly delayed the declaration for a quarter of an hour after the stoppage caused by rain, alter which England put on 17 unwanted runs for the loss of four wickets, for which the Time would have been better employed in getting an early African wicket.
