ALLIED AND EX-ENEMY "SOLDIERS. VICTORIAN SUGGESTION. Victorian returned soldiers ,411 tend a"ain to suggest a world conference representative of all the men who fought in the world war. They haie been impressed by the suggsFion that British ex-servicemen should visit Germany. This suggestion has been endorsed bv the Prince of Wales. The world conference, it is said, would 'not only be a gesture of goodwill among nations, but would also be a definite move toward securing world B The president of the Y ictorian branch of the Returned Soldiers’ League (Mr G. TV. Holland) said that lie was strongly in favour of former soldiers of aIF countries meeting.
