REMARKABLE SHOOTING. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, June 24. Tlie record for Canterbury gun club* was broken at a special shoot at Alethven on Saturday when, in the shootoff in a fifteen bird match, two of those with possibles went to the 56th round. H. At. Wright (Christchurch) beat I. G. Watkins (Rangiora). AVatkins went right through 71 birds on the first barrel, AA'right using his second only four times.
