MANCHESTER GROCERS.

COAIPLAINT OF A SLIGHT. The Alanchester Dispatch of June 12 says that Lancashire grocers are disappointed over Air J. A. Lyons’s hurried visit- _ The Northern Council of the Grocers’ Association declares:—“Since we cabled Mr Lyons over thousands of miles it is a slight to us that we have not been invited to interview him.” Manufacturers of Alanchester and Rossendnle Boot and Shoe Manufacturers’ Association will protest over Australian tariffs when Air Lyons visits Bury, pointing out that Australia formerly took a large proportion of the Rossendnle exports.
