LOCAL BODY POLL
INFORMATIONS LAID. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 24. Informations charging five Auckland residents with a breach of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, have been laid by the police following the distribution of printed cards bearing the names-of candidates in the vicinity of polling booths on the day of the municipal elections, May 8. No elate lias yet been fixed for the prosecutions, which will lie conducted bv the Crown solicitor on behalf of the police.
