ISLANDS TRAGEDY.
DEATH OF INDIAN. Received June 24, 11.40 a.m. • SUVA, June 24. An Indian was seen on Saturday morning hanging from a tree alongside the overland road, about farteen miles from Tavua, guarded by a Fi]ian policeman. . ~ , Indian onlookers were not attempting to cut the body down. It is presumed that i.t is a case of suicide. A calico loincloth or dhoti was used as a rope.
