POLITICAL CONTROL.

MASTER PRINTER’S CRITICISM. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 14. Strong criticism of “political control over economic activities” was voiced by Mr A. Dennison, the president, in his address at the 27tli annual conference of the Federation of Master Printers of New Zealand, which concluded today. This process of subordination to political and bureaucratic control, he said, would continue until the citizens asserted their independence and not only refrained from asking for Government control, but united in resisting its encroachment into their affairs. He was confident that the printing industry in New Zealand would make sound progress toward recovery if it relied on its own efforts rather than if it submitted to any form of State reorganisation a.nd regulation.
