BYRD EXPEDITION.

SHIPS LEAVE DUNEDIN. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 13. The Bvrd Expedition ships Jacob Ruppert ‘and Bear of Oakland have sailed for Panama via Easter Island, where they will rendezvous. They were given a rousing send-off. Rear Admiral R. E. Byrd and Mrs Byrd left by train for Wellington. They have not yet decided when they will leave the Dominion for the leader to rejoin his ships at Panama.
