COLLEGE STREET SCHOOL.
LADIES’ COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the ladies’ committee of the College Street School was held on Monday. In the unavoidable absence of Mrs Bale, Sirs Watchorn presided and there ...were also present Mesdames Christmas, Duckworth, Gush, Laurenson, McLeod, Pearson, Ross, Ward, Worbovs and Whyte. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Bale, Templeton, and King. A statement of accounts in connection with the gala day, held last term, was presented. Tho amount of £25 18s Set was cleared and this was considered highly satisfactory. The bal-ance-sheet was adopted by the committee. The grateful thanks of the committee were tendered to those nonmembers of the committee who so ably assisted on the day, also to the High School girls and further to Mr Mills and Mr Bennison for donations received.
